Jacobi Sharnece Honeysucker-Sims
Jacobi Sharnece Honeysucker-Sims, 33, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of Tyner High School.
Jacobi was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Sims, Jr.; mother, Towanna Caldwell; grandparents, Larry Manghane, Sr., Lizzie Mae Honeysucker; great-grandparents, Lorenzo Manghane and Margaret (Rufus) White; aunt, Mary Hill.
Survivors include her sons, Ta’ Sean Honeysucker, and Ja’marion Crawl; daughter, Mari’yana Crawl all of Chattanooga; father, John Honeysucker of Nashville, TN; grandmother, Brenda Manghane; great-grandmother, Mary Manghane, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Lorenzo Caldwell, Corey Muckle, Dewayne Caldwell, Jr., Garrison Caldwell, all of Chattanooga, and Vontavious Pointer of Nashville; sisters, Vasace Sails of Nashville, Jermece Caldwell, Quinnetta Craig, both of Chattanooga, Nakayla Walker, Kantana Buchanan, both of Nashville, and Ava Honeysucker of Chattanooga; uncles, Larry (Caritra) Manghane, Jr., of Chattanooga, and James Honeysucker of Gainesville, FL; aunts, Madonna Ballard, Gladys Evans, both of Chattanooga, and Laquita Honeysucker of Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Jacobi will lie in state on Friday, Feb. 18, from 1-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffrey Carter officiating and Pastor Kenneth L. Simpson, Jr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
