Joshua Lamar Jennings Dismuke, 18, passed away on March 8, 2022, in Marion County, Tennessee. He was born on June 2, 2003, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Joshua attended Howard High School. Joshua loved sports, and he played Little League football for the Broncos. He also played football for the Warriors at Brown Academy Elementary School. Additionally, he played baseball at Dalewood Middle School. He had been previously employed by several fast-food restaurants. He was a member of the Olivet Baptist Church.

Joshua was predeceased by his grandfather, Alan Lamar Allgood.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his adoptive mother, Patricia Dismuke; biological mom, Jessica J. Ford (Jason); stepmom, Tonya Thompson; biological father, Kevin Allgood; six sisters. Tiara Slocum, Ciara Slocum, Janotica, Slocum, Alana Allgood, Kayla Allgood, and Natina Moore;  one brother, Timothy Singleton (Kenya); grandmothers, Teresa Jennings and Joyce Allgood; grandfather, Tommy Jennings; two aunts Gerri Williams and Connie Grayson; three uncles, Michael Hill, Christopher Hill, and LaMichael Tatum (Brittany); niece, Timia Singleton; beloved sweetheart, Honesti Paris; godfather, Aubrey Fritz, all of Chattanooga, TN; extended honorary family members, Nina Palmer, Montel Slocum, Sarah Porter, Marlene Williams, Joyce Gattis, Mary Rodriquez, Albert and Pauletta McCollum, and Chris Sands; a host of other family members and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, at Olivet Baptist Church, 751 MLK Boulevard, followed immediately by a funeral service at noon.

Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
