Four Bridges Dermatology & Cosmetics Opening In May At Riverfront Medical Center

  • Thursday, April 21, 2022

A newly founded dermatology practice is set to move into the Riverfront Medical Center at The Bend this May – the last of the tenants in the new building, though an expansion is scheduled to begin this fall.

Four Bridges Dermatology & Cosmetics was established by board-certified dermatologists, Drs. Laura Cleary, Cara Hennings and Deanna Brown. The physicians recognized an opportunity to provide greater access to dermatology services in Chattanooga, as there are currently only seven other board-certified dermatologists in the region.

“In forming Four Bridges, we hope to fill this need while providing outstanding medical, cosmetic and pediatric dermatologic care in the heart of the city,” said Four Bridges Dermatology & Cosmetics co-founder, Dr. Brown. “We are also proud to be a fully women-owned and women-run medical practice. We hope to inspire the next generation of young women in healthcare and business.”

The 5,865 square-foot medical office and Four Bridges Boutique, which will offer professional-grade skincare, is centrally located at 1247 Riverfront Pkwy.

Although appointment scheduling does not begin until May, those interested in becoming a Four Bridges patient can fill out the contact form on the website and be the first to receive updates and appointment information.

A trend in cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery, named the Zoom Boom, was sparked in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued since. According to Outpatient Surgery Magazine, the American Society of Plastic Surgery listed Botox, fillers, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels and intense pulsed light therapy as the most requested procedures among more than 13 million performed. A survey analyzing 2020 cosmetic consultations found that out of 130 dermatology society respondents, 50 percent noted an increase in consults and 85 percent cited video conferencing as the patient-listed reason.

“As rigorously-trained skin experts, our physicians are positioned to lead the community in delivering safe and reliable cosmetic treatments tailored to each patient's individual needs,” said Dr. Brown in regard to this trend.

Noon Development is now pre-leasing medical and retail office space for the expansion of the Riverfront Medical Center, which includes a 12,100 square-foot extension of the building. For more information, contact Todd Kimling at 498-5480 or todd.kimling@noondevelopment.com.
