Vickie Diane Saylors, 67, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, peacefully at home with family by her side.

She retired from TVA after 31 years of service.  Vickie loved Alabama football.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reno Saylors, Chester and Catherine Holder and brother, Tommy Saylors.

Vickie is survived by her only son, Cheston Saylors, and her sons lifelong friend, Matthew Russell, who she called her “Number One Son”; daughter-in-law, Megan Mitchell; two granddaughters; Cheslyn and Maci Saylors; brother, Mack (Shelia)  Saylors; nieces, Sabrina Saylors and Hollie Saylors;  nephew, Jeff (Amy) Saylors; sister-in-law, Lila Saylors and special friend, Kim Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, at 2:30 p.m. (CST) in Rogers Funeral Home Chapel in South Pittsburg with Pastor Gary Bone officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, from 4-7 p.m. (CST) and on Friday from 1-2:30 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers are Jason Colburn, Doug Goff, Logan Perry, Joe Martin, Daniel King and Randy Cleveland. 

Honorary pallbearer is David King.

The family would like to thank Betty Stacy, from Adoration Hospice, for being God-sent and like family during Vickie’s battle with cancer.
