Clifton “Butch” Anthony Dacus, 74, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at home with his family beside him. He was born Nov. 11, 1947 to Clifton “Kip” and Juanita Parker Dacus. He retired from Mars Inc., and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Brenda Brackett; angel baby sister, Vicky Daily; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Francis and Eva Prock; and brothers-in-law, Kirby Carver and Randy Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Prock Dacus; daughters, Tammy (Kyle) McNabb and Amanda Burns; son, BJ (Autumn) Dacus; granddaughters, Courtney Brenner, Tesha Brenner, Takita Brenner, Moria McNabb, Ashlee Lowe and Bristol Dacus; grandsons, Cody (Rebecca) Brenner and Francis Burns; great-grandchildren, Mylei Moore, Maebry Brenner, Elena Hardin, Temperance Tarvin, Aurora Burns and Paladin Lowe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mollie (Johnny) Merrell, Mary (Bennie) Rymer, Iva Nell Carver, Alice (Alie) Rymer, Norma (Terry) Morgan, Lyvonne (Doug) Kent, Wayne Prock and William (Angie) Prock; special friends, Clyde Shinpaugh, David and Angie Sisk; and a host of friends and family.
