Ownership is changing for the space at 24 Station Street, Unit #2. The name “Reagan’s” will be retained with Andrew St. Charles and Joanna Meyers taking over the business.

The bar is being renovated to fit their vision. Retro music through the decades from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s will be played and, as it gets later at night, the crowd gets younger, said Mr. St. Charles, newer music will be integrated into the mix.

All of the previous employees have been kept, however they are being retrained to reflect the ethics of the new owners. Nobody will be behind the bar without being ABC certified, he said.

A new concert venue, The Redbud, is being opened by Bret and Margaret Bill at 2314 13th St. The old church building has been renovated to bring it up to code and will be used for rehearsals, recordings and concerts. The capacity is around 210.

For the time being the owners are the only employees with one manning the door and the other at the bar. Only beer will be sold.

Las margaritas II, 4604 Skyview Drive was approved for a consumer beer license.
