Linda Sylvester
Linda Cline Sylvester, 77, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Orlinda, Tn., to the late Reuben and Edna Cline.
She was a graduate from Isaac Litton High School of Nashville, Tn., Class of 1962, she also attended Middle Tennessee State University.
Linda was a sister in Christ and was a member of Graceworks Church.
She leaves a legacy of love, kindness and a giving heart. Throughout her life, she has shown God’s love through her patience, graciousness and caring ways. She loved her family unconditionally and was a devoted wife and a doting mother and grandmother. Linda loved spending time with family, church, traveling, UTK football and going to the beach. She was the owner of Chattanooga Supply, Inc. for 30 years.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Sylvester; and beloved son, Randy Allen.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter, Kristie Allen Brown (Troy); grandsons, Christopher Allen Burkhart and Matthew Cline Griffith; brother, Nathan Cline (Susan); niece, Lindsay Maugans (John); nephew, Colton Cline (Kimber) and countless cousins and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7, from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home 7454 East Brainerd Road Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 8, 2022 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home at 2:00pm eastern. The family will receives friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.
Burial will be on Friday, July 8, 2022, immediately following the funeral service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Burkhart, Matthew Griffith, Troy Brown, Andy Brown, and Colton Cline.
