CFD Holds Community Event This Weekend With Public Safety Agencies

The public is invited to join the CFD, CPD, Hamilton County EMS and other local organizations as they unite for a community kickball game this Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at  the East Chattanooga Community Center, 2409 Dodson Ave. 

"This is designed to allow the public to connect with their first responders," organizers said.

There will be food, fun and music at the free event.

Man, 79, Killed In Wreck Near Soddy Daisy On Friday Afternoon

A 79-year-old man was killed in a wreck on Highway 27 near Soddy Daisy on Friday afternoon.
