Siskin Children’s Institute announces the second in a series of networking business breakfasts designed to inspire the community. "Your Hidden Superpower," featuring Adrienne Bankert, will be held in the Gilman Event Hall at West Village on Tuesday, October 25 at 7:30 a.m.
Ms. Bankert is an award-winning national news anchor and host of “Morning in America” on NewsNation. While with ABC News, Ms. Bankert won two Emmys for her work on “Good Morning America,” as well as reporting for “World News Tonight with David Muir” and “Nightline.” She has been assigned worldwide, from Tokyo to Prague, and covered the 2019 Women’s World Cup in Paris.
She’s covered some of the biggest names and headlines, including tragedies like the Parkland high school shooting, breaking news of the youth soccer team trapped in a Thailand cave and moments with stars such as Kobe Bryant, Lady Gaga and Viola Davis. She also sang with country music legend Garth Brooks.
In her latest book, "Your Hidden Superpower: The Kindness that Makes You Unbeatable at Work and Connects You With Anyone," Ms. Bankert shares how the power of kindness creates an authentic method and muscle memory for being more fulfilled, more relatable and cultivates a safe space within teams, friendships, strangers and high-caliber individuals.
Ms. Bankert is based in Chicago, where she says she is still in awe of her beautiful new hometown. An alumna of the University of Southern California, she enjoys connecting, mentoring and speaking, as well as coming up with new ideas to engage with technology, media and cultural innovation.
“We’re excited to bring such an inspirational speaker to Chattanooga,” said Derek Bullard, president and CEO at Siskin Children’s Institute. “If you joined us for our first business breakfast with Duncan Wardle last spring, you will not want to miss Adrienne Bankert and her important message about the power of human kindness.”
