Lucille Coleman
Lucille Coleman, 94, departed this life on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
She was born in Wilsonville, Al., on March 31, 1928. She was married to the love of her life, Ernest Coleman, Sr. for 73 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Fred Willingham; husband, Ernest Coleman, Sr.; son, Ernest Coleman, Jr; two brothers; one sister, a grandson and a great granddaughter.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Linda Edwards, Ernestine Hollingsworth, Joyce (Judge) Lyles, Judy (Calvin) Toney; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Ms. Buel Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 12-6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with William Andrew McGhee as officiant.
