Chattanooga State Volleyball Wins In Three Over Cleveland State

The Cleveland State volleyball lost three close sets to league leading Chattanooga State 25-18, 25-18 and 25-21.

The home match loss gave Cleveland State an overall season mark of 5-5 and conference record of
0-4 Jazlyn Butler led the Cougars attack with eight Kills aided by 13 Assists from Taylor Hancock and 10 by Ella Johnson. Ten Digs each by Hancock and Madison Husted followed by 8 from Johnson
positioned the Cougars on their offensive attack keeping them in striking distance in each set.

Cleveland State’s next contest is slated for Monday September 26 with the home match vs Bryan College set to start at 6:30 p.m. Home games are played in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State. Admission is $8 per person with Cleveland State students attending at no charge.
