Chickamauga DAR Chapter Donates Supplies To Local School

Members of Chickamauga Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held a school supply collection during their September Chapter meeting. The Chapter’s Local Schools Committee, led by First Vice Regent Cindy Dearing, Regent Gayle Burrows and committee member Elaine Robinson delivered a quantity of collected materials to the Chattanooga Charter School of Excellence.

The materials were accepted by Vice Principal Arianna Gladney of the CCSE Middle School and Vice Principal Karen Jackson, CCSE Elementary.

Items collected for the school ranged from student supplies, art materials, cleaning and first aid items.

Regent Burrows acknowledged the generosity of DAR Chapter members in fulfilling a major DAR initiative to support education and particularly local schools.
