Chattanooga Housing Authority Announces Availability For Single Individuals Over 62

Individuals over 62 with an income less than $42,150 may apply for housing which has become available at several of the Chattanooga Housing Authority’s sites.  Currently, there are limited openings at Boynton Terrace Apartments, Gateway Towers and Mary Walker Towers.  

Individuals interested in applying for housing at Boynton Terrace at 955 Boynton Dr., are encouraged to contact manager Melanie White by calling 752-4865 or by emailing:  MWhite@CHAHousing.org. 

Those interested in units at Gateway Tower at 1100 Gateway Ave. or Mary Walker Towers at 2501 S. Market St. are encouraged to contact manager Natasha McKinley by calling 752-4890 or emailing:  NMcKinley@CHAHousing.org.  

Housing Authority representatives said, “It isn’t often that we have availability in our senior communities and we’re looking forward to providing single individuals with an annual income of less than $42,150 the opportunity to find a new home. Our mission is to provide safe, decent affordable housing. This is especially true for the seniors in our community who are often without support during this time of their lives.  We know these openings will fill quickly and look forward to welcoming seniors to their new homes.”
