DAR Presents Proclamations To Chattanooga Library

The Chattanooga Regents Council Daughters of the American Revolution presented several Proclamations to the downtown Chattanooga Library. All these documents can be viewed for additional information.

Both the city and Hamilton County mayors signed these Proclamations to go into effect for 2022.

Constitution Week was celebrated Sept. 17-23. During this week, DAR members urge citizens to study the Constitution and reflect on the privilege of being an American with all the rights and responsibilities that privilege involves.

Oct. 11 will be celebrated as DAR Day of Service. This day will recognize the many contributions the DAR has made to the community.

National American Indian Heritage Month will be celebrated in November. During the month, the public is invited to reflect on their culture, customs and traditions and how they affected America today.
