Kizzar And Helms Honored With UCRA Red Line Synthetic Oil Championships

The United Championship Racing Alliance handed out it's 2022 racing season championship awards this week, with over $15,000 in prize monies available to series followers. Kenny Kizzar, and Jeff Helms won the series, championship and rookie of the year honors respectfully for the 604 Crate Late Model series.

Kizzar, 53, won his second consecutive back to back $5,000 title as a faithful follower of the series since its conception, by the late Marvin Ford, in 2015. Kizzar pilots his #157 Chip Vineyard Racing CVR, Chuck Smith Performance Engines, Don's Foreign Cars, Dodd Brothers Towing, Stealth Carburetors,  KC Graphics, WE Rock Extreme Rock Crawling sponsored racecar out of the Sale Creek/Soddy Daisy area. Crew Chief Daniel Grider Jr wrenches the machine with Corbin Mcglamery Jr and Marcus Conner. Wife Julia handles marketing and Facebook social media networking. 

Helms, 37, won the $1,000 Rookie of the Year award, by following the UCRA series whilst also picking up his first series win at his home track (Fort Payne Motor Speedway) back in August. Helms #8H is sponsored by. The 2023 UCRA season will get a boost in the championship offering a $7,500 prize to the eligible points leader. Along with the annual $1,000 rookie of the year challenge puts over $20,000 on the line for eligible competitors.
