Chattanooga Horse Photographer Elected To Tennessee Professional Photographers Association’s Board

Betsy Bird of Ride the Sky Equine Photography has been elected to the board of directors for the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association.

"Her passion for photography and commitment to fostering growth and elevating the industry within the state's photography community make her an invaluable addition to the board," officials said.

Based in Chattanooga, Ms. Bird is the owner of Ride the Sky Equine Photography, a photography business specializing in equestrian and horse photography.


"Her work is celebrated for its ability to capture the grace and beauty of horses, making her a well-known figure in the equestrian photography world," officials said. "The Tennessee Professional Photographers Association, an official Community Network of the Professional Photographers of America, shares Ms. Bird's dedication to promoting excellence in photography through education and building a close-knit community of photographers throughout the state. The organization's core values of innovation, inspiration and the relentless pursuit of photographic artistry."

Karen Fox, TNPPA's chairman of the board, expressed her enthusiasm for Ms. Bird's election, saying, "Betsy's dedication to the growth of the Tennessee photography community is truly commendable. She has already made significant contributions as our director of Communications, and we are thrilled to have her on our board of directors."

"Ms. Bird's passion for photography and her commitment to elevating Tennessee's photography community make her a dynamic addition to the TNPPA board.
