Independent Country Music Hall of Fame member Randall Franks attended the 9th Annual Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville recently.

He was nominated for both Inspirational Vocalist of the Year and Musician of the Year.

“It was such a wonderful night, walking the red carpet, sharing interviews with media folks and meeting other music artists from around the world,” he said. “The evening was filled with visits with long-time friends, great music, smiles and tears as folks won.
I was blessed to be nominated.”

Mr. Franks joined Deborah Allen (Lifetime Achievement Award Winner), Tim Atwood, Kid Rock, Jimmy Bowen, Lee Newton, William Lee Golden and the Goldens and Barney Fife Woods - who took Best Performance in a Music Video for “Cruisin’ Through A Small Town,” filmed by artist Brandon Maddox in Randall’s hometown of Ringgold.
