Avail Senior Living announces the addition of M. Cody Harvey, MBA, BSN, RN, as partner and owner-operator.

With over 30 years of collective experience in operating senior living communities, the partnership between founders Chris Beckstrand and Rob Cuthbertson, alongside Harvey, promises a new era of excellence and compassionate care.

Harvey said dedication to senior care began during his high school years as a certified nursing assistant, fostering a deep-rooted love for seniors. This passion led him to earn a bachelor's of science in nursing from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2015, where he later received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the School of Nursing in 2019. Additionally, Mr. Harvey holds a master's of business administration, with a focus on healthcare, from Southern Adventist University.
Before joining Avail Senior Living, Mr. Harvey served as the executive director at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga, the largest senior living community within the Morning Pointe Senior Living network.
Officials said, "His invaluable experience and hands-on approach in the industry have made him a respected figure among peers and seniors alike. Mr. Harvey's involvement extends beyond the realm of senior care. He actively contributes to the community as the president of the East Brainerd Kiwanis club, vice president of the Hamilton County Pachyderm Club and a member of the governing board for Chattanooga Head Start and Early Head Start. A devout Christian, he and his wife, Chelsea Harvey, are members of the Silverdale Baptist Church.
