Here are upcoming road closings:

Cherokee Boulevard / River Street

Facade work on the Bridgeview Apartments is requiring the following closures or restrictions from Wednesday through Dec. 15, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (weekdays only):

· Full closure of River Street between Rennessaince Park and Coolidge Park

· Right, eastbound lane of Cherokee Blvd between Manufacturers Road and Market Street

2508 Dodson Avenue - Emergency Closure

Dodson Avenue between Appling Street and Daisy Street will be closed effective immediately due to a sewer main break. The repairs are expected to last until Friday, Dec. 15. Crews will reopen the road each evening at 3:30 p.m. and close the following morning at 8:30 a.m. until construction is complete. Detours will be posted.

Frazier Avenue Updates:

New Speed Limit

The speed limit of Frazier Avenue between Barton Avenue and Market Street has been permanently lowered to 25 miles per hour effective immediately.

Temporary Traffic Pattern

Frazier Avenue between Barton Avenue and Market Street will undergo a temporary traffic pattern modification beginning on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 7 a.m. until Monday, Dec. 11, at 6 a.m. Modifications will be made using temporary traffic control devices including cones, drums, and signs.
