Riverfront Nights Announces TVFCU As Title Sponsor For 2024 Season

  • Thursday, December 7, 2023
Friends of the Festival announced that TVFCU will serve as the Title Sponsor for the 2024 Riverfront Nights Season. The series will mark its 17th season on the river at Ross’s Landing on May 25.

Friends of the Festival Executive Director Mickey McCamish said, “We’re kicking off the season in a big way by closing down Riverfront Parkway so that we can feature an expanded family activity area, more food trucks and fun for families, friends and dogs. As the region’s best known credit union, TVFCU has been a part of many of our families for generations and we’re honored they’ve joined ours.”

Todd Fortner, president and CEO of TVFCU, said, “Riverfront Nights is a summertime tradition that thousands look forward to each year.
Friends of the Festival has lots of theme nights planned around various bands and we can’t wait to add our own special touches to make sure everyone has a great time. We’re looking forward to kicking off the summer at Ross’s Landing.”

The opening show will feature A-1A, the official Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band. From May until the end of August, music lovers from around the region will gather to enjoy free music each Saturday evening with featured performers and themes for each weekend.

Mr. Fortner noted that Departure, the official Journey Tribute Band, will be taking the River Front Nights stage and that there are lots of surprises in store that will be announced after the holidays.

“The Friends of the Festival is adding some great activities to draw families to the riverfront each weekend," Mr. Fortner said. "We’re excited about the efforts and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones as we enjoy one of our city’s best summer traditions.”
