"Suspicious Person" Turns Out To Be Resident Checking Their Own Mailbox - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A concerned citizen reported a suspicious individual who looked homeless, checking mailboxes in the 4100 block of Barnsley Loop. Officers observed the individual and quickly discovered that the person was checking their mailbox and was a resident of the subdivision. 
 
Officers responded to an alarm in the 9000 block of Old Lee Highway. Everything checked okay. 

A two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported in the 9500 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. 

A minor fender bender occurred in the 5100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. 

A vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 8800 block of Lu Lane. 

Officers responded to an alarm in the 5600 block of Bryar Rose.
Everything checked okay. 

A traffic stop in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway, resulted in the driver being misdemeanor cited for driving on a suspended license. 

A well being check was conducted in the 4900 block of Sandy Trail. The individual was okay. 

Officers responded to an alarm in the 5000 block of University Drive. Everything checked okay.
