Link, George Wesley (Cleveland)

George Wesley Link, 82, of Cleveland, passed away on March 21, 2023. He was born on Dec. 3, 1940 to the late William and Mildred Link. George was an avid golfer, sports fan, coin collector and dog lover. He was a longtime member of South Cleveland United Methodist Church. 

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Link; infant sister, Barbara Link; son, Leslie Link; and wife, Judy Couch Link.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 33 years, Gincy Link; son, Wesley Link; stepchildren, Kerri Humphreys (Don) and Darrell Belcher (Shontene); grandchildren, Taylor Belcher (Haley), Brooke Burnette (Festus), Blake Belcher, Ashely Murphy, Brandon Humphreys (Taleah) and Donald Humphreys; and seven great-grandchildren, Colton, Ariyah, Asher, FJ, Declan, Ryker and Eliora. In addition to these, he leaves behind nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

George’s family will have a graveside service at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24 at Fort Hill Cemetery. Larry Curry, Taylor Belcher, Brent Belcher, James Passavant, Dale Hooper and Brandon Humphreys will serve as pallbearers.
