The Salvation Army To Receive Large Donation From McCallie School For Easter Blessing Boxes

  • Friday, March 24, 2023

The McCallie School will be making a donation to The Salvation Army of Chattanooga as part of an annual drive to provide Easter meals for Chattanooga’s neighbors in need. The donation includes ham, canned vegetables, boxed potatoes, quick bread or yeast bread mix, canned fruit cocktail, jell-O mix, mini marshmallows, dessert mix, butter or margarine and bagged Easter candy.

The Salvation Army’s social services team will distribute the Easter blessing boxes to individuals and families who might not otherwise have a complete Easter meal to cook at home. Those include people residing in public housing, senior adults in need and other families in need in the Chattanooga area.

The Salvation Army personnel will meet volunteers at the McCallie School to pick up the donation on March 27 at 10 a.m.

Join the Salvation Army’s #FightforGood and visit csarmy.org/volunteer or call 423-756-1023 to get involved.
