National Intelligent Transportation CEO To Tour UTC-led Chattanooga Smart Corridor And Testbed

Laura Chace, president and CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, will meet with Chattanooga community leaders, government officials and leaders in mobility and transportation technology and tour the Smart Corridor+ testbed. Ms. Chace’s visit is being hosted by the UTC Center for Urban Informatics and Progress and its founding director, Dr. Mina Sartipi.

ITS America is dedicated to advancing the safe deployment of intelligent transportation technologies throughout the United States. Before becoming its president and CEO, Ms. Chace worked at USTelecom, the American Trucking Association, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the White House during the Clinton Administration.

Ms. Chace will share her observations on current transportation technology and Chattanooga’s critical role in its future and commerce in a presentation to local community and industry leaders on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The event is at the Edney Innovation Center in downtown Chattanooga. Ms. Chace will take questions at the conclusion of her presentation.
