Todd C. Belk
Cempa Community Care has added Todd C. Belk, MSN, FNP-C, to its medical staff.
Although Mr. Belk took on a full-time role with the organization in June, his experience with Cempa began in January of this year when he completed 288 clinical hours in his final practicum while earning his master of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
“I was at Cempa during my final semester of FNP [family nurse practitioner] school and fell in love with both the staff and our clients,” Mr.
Belk said. “Cempa’s mission aligns with my personal values and my passion for truly connecting with clients to help them balance physical and mental well-being through small but meaningful lifestyle changes.”
Mr. Belk will practice at Cempa’s primary location at 1000 East 3rd St. in Chattanooga and will provide both primary care and infectious disease management of HIV, HCV and HBV, including initiating and managing PrEP, PEP and other services.
“We were so fortunate to have had Todd on our team while he was pursuing his FNP, and we are thrilled to add his skills and expertise to our full-time staff,” said Shannon Burger, CEO at Cempa Community Care. “Bringing on great providers empowers our organization to accomplish our mission of championing healthy communities, and I am confident that Todd will help us do that.”
Mr. Belk is a native of the Chattanooga area and attended UTC to obtain both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.
