Just when I thought I was tired of Mark Spain and WetterMark Keith billboards, District Attorney Coty Wamp is posting Glamour Shot Billboards advocating responsible gun ownership.
I love them.
I trust she is using federal dollars for this expensive endeavor and not local taxpayer dollars. Billboards are expensive, usually running thousands of dollars per month, under a six-month contract.
What’s next? A Weston Wamp billboard with his headshot advocating to NVR TXT DRV? I would love that as well.
To be honest, the head shot billboards of Mark Spain and Wettermark Keith polluting my drive time, I welcome the breath of fresh air supplied by our beautiful District Attorney.
Remove your guns from your vehicles, or our own Barbie is coming after you.
She will go far.

First of all I am not easily offended and do not consider myself sensitive to "The Boys Club" in Chattanooga. I do not ever send my opinion or thoughts although when reading some articles I am amazed by the entitled self-centered people. This Barbie billboard was a prime example.
Ironic that he would call out advertising since his name is known by anyone that has lived here for more than five years because of the overkill of his commercials, billboards etc.
I thought it to be so tasteless. I would rather see a DA taking the steps to help with a major problem that our city is facing and that affects so many families and children in our city.
I believe this same attorney takes pride in his appearance as well and I do not believe I have ever seen this man in anything but extremely nice suits with beautiful colors which I did also admire before this article.
I do realize the difference in tax money and money that he may earn through his business - a business in which he actually makes money off of others that have been victims of some type of injury or something like that.
I found it to be sexist and offensive.
I will find the positive in such a male chauvinist good old boy article.
I hope that every man looks at it every day in their drive home and read what it says about the problems we have in Chattanooga. Awareness is awareness either way and maybe as an upstanding member of the professional community you can spread the word that a beautiful woman is seeking responsible adults men and women to stop leaving guns in their cars and she is a passionate woman that will do anything to help with our opioid crisis.
Take a pic of that billboard send it to your golf buddies so they can enjoy that Barbie pic.
You should be ashamed that all you saw was how attractive she was and not once ever mentioned the real crisis or concern for the information written on the billboard.
So good job showing your character and what you took from that billboard tells me more about you and your character. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house.

Or, instead of spending money trying to convince all these “responsible” Tennessee gun owners to safely store their guns that are being left in unlocked cars, on store shelves, in dressing rooms in Lookout Valley Walmart and others, on playgrounds and hotel drawers, maybe a hefty fine of a few hundred dollars would convince these wanna be cowboys that guns are dangerous weapons that kill children here pretty much daily.
Or, just like “click it or ticket” maybe “lock it or lose it” would be a good deterrent. Let’s not infringe on anyone’s rights but what about the rights of our children to be able to go to school, into a store or public restroom without encountering a loaded gun left by one of Tennessee’s “protected” responsible gun owners?
