Fraudulent Loan Attempted - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

The Collegedale Credit Union reported that an individual attempted to obtain a loan using fraudulent information. The loan officer was able to catch the fraud and cancelled the loan process.

An individual came to city hall to report that their roommate wouldn’t let them back in their apartment at the Hawthorne at the Crest apartment complex.

A Collegedale fugitive at the county jail was booked on a petition to revoke bond warrant from an original charge of reckless driving.

A vehicle was reportedly side swiped by another vehicle while turning in the 5800 block of Main Street. The other vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.

An officer was requested to check on an unknown person who had been dropped off in the 5200 block of Loblolly Lane and was hanging around the area. Everything checked out okay.

Collegedale Police assisted Chattanooga Police with what had originally been dispatched as a possible kidnapping in progress and ended after one of the involved individuals forced the other off the road in the 7900 block of Apison Pike.

A vehicle backing out of a parking space at the Circle K in the 9300 block of Lee Highway struck another vehicle at the gas pumps causing minor damage.

A water main was broken in the 5600 block of Bryar Rose Drive. Eastside Utility was called for the repair.

A cement truck struck another vehicle in the 10500 block of Apison Pike.

An officer assisted a citizen at city hall by verifying a VIN number for a recently purchased vehicle.

A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 10300 block of Lee Highway.

A patient reportedly assaulted another patient at Life Care Center of Collegedale, in the 9200 block of Apison Pike.

A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Swinyar Drive and Apison Pike.

A Collegedale fugitive at the county jail was booked on a petition to revoke bond warrant from an original theft charge.

An alarm was accidentally set off by employees at a business in the Robinson Corners Shopping Center.

Officers responded to the 4900 block of College Drive East for an individual having a mental health crisis. The individual was taken into protective custody and transported for evaluation.

A Collegedale fugitive was transported from the Campbell County Jail to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on a petition to revoke bond warrant from original drug charges.

Police were called to the Hawthorne at the Summit apartment complex for a noise complaint between neighbors. The residents were asked to turn their music down.

Employees at Garden Plaza at Greenbriar Cove called police to remove two individuals having an intense conversation from their property. The individuals agreed to do so.

A traffic stop in the 10100 block of Lee Highway resulted in the driver being charged with driving on a revoked license.

A traffic stop in the 10500 block of Lee Highway resulted in the driver being charged with driving on a suspended license.
