"On walk day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer's with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease," organizers said.
"The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer's — their personal reasons to end the disease."
“I had friends and family that had Alzheimer's.” said Danny Britt. “I knew I couldn’t do much for them, but knew I could help to raise some money that will help patients and their families in the future.”
Sponsors include Legacy Village of Cleveland, Adoration Hospice, Avail Senior Living, Hooper Insurance, Charter Senior Living of Cleveland and Life Care Centers of America.
