East Ridge Community Center Hosting Free Monthly Birthday Parties For Kids

  • Monday, September 25, 2023
The East Ridge Community Center is celebrating birthdays by hosting free monthly birthday parties for kids.  Children in the community ages one to 16 years old are invited to sign up to celebrate their own birthday month or just come and help other kids celebrate their birthday.

The event is held on the second Saturday of each month at the East Ridge Community Center at 1515 Tombras Ave.  The monthly birthday parties, beginning at 1 p.m., will have music, balloon animals, t-shirts and more for all the birthday boys and girls.  The only thing parents will need to do is to register their children to be a “birthday kid” before the last day of the month before their birthday month.

"East Ridge resident Brittany Williams wanted to help solve some of the issues parents experience when trying to organize a birthday party for their children," officials said.
"he decided to launch 'Creatives on the go party company,' and partnered with the City of East Ridge to host a program that resolves most of the issues many parents face when planning a party."

“We know parents often stress tremendously over birthday parties,” said Hannah Spear, East Ridge Community Center supervisor.  “They worry if other kids will show up, will the kids have fun, do I have enough money for this, etc.  So East Ridge wanted to partner with a program that helps ease those worries - and the kids can just have fun and be loved on.”
