McCallie 7th Grader, Colt Stohler Pitts, Breaks Diving Records

Yhis past Friday afternoon, during the first of two days of competition at the Northwest Georgia Middle School Swimming and Diving Championships, McCallie 7th grader Colt Stohler Pitts took first place in boys' diving.

It was a record breaking performance.  His 240 points shattered the previous Championships record of 213 points. 

McCallie diving coach, Phil Lesselroth, was also pleased to share that McCallie's Middle School previous record of 221 points was eclipsed by 19 big points.

Prelims and Finals of swimming events are scheduled for Saturday, at the Calhoun Aquatic Center.
