Rachel Suzanne Ford, 61, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

She graduated from Dade County High School, class of 1981. Rachel also attended Edmondson College, specializing in micro computers, graduating in 1990. She was a huge fan of Elvis, Gone with the Wind and the TN Vols. Rachel enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going on trips, and traveling. She was also an avid reader, she loved reading a little bit of every type of genre. Rachel will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Susan Foster; stepfather, James Huffstutler; sister, Robin Jones; father-in-law, Glenn Ford, and mother-in-law, Betty Baxter.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard Ford, daughter, Victoria Bustos (Jose); brothers, Jim Foster (Andrea) and Dewayne Davis; sister, Jackie McCord; grandchildren, Sophia, Camila and Matias; stepmother, Candy Foster, as well as her adopted grandchildren, Mason, Addie and Madilyn.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 12 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Glenn Moseley officiating.

Burial will be private.
