Scenic City Women’s Network announces Charlaine Price, author, licensed counselor and retired educator, as guest speaker for the SCWN Marketplace Luncheon Oct. 24 at noon at The Walden Club, 633 Chestnut St. #2100 in Chattanooga. A plated meal and refreshments will be served.

October Marketplace Luncheon registration is $30 and open to the public. Space is limited and registration ends Oct. 22. Register online or call 423-698-6262.

About the speaker:
Charlaine is a living testament to God’s love as she strives to showcase His love, grace, and mercy as a 13-year cancer survivor.
She freely shares her testimony of how God snatched her back from death on the third day in the ICU, and released her to go home as He had promised her in John 2:19: “Destroy this temple, and in three days will raise it up.”

She says He indeed restored her, guiding her by the power of the Holy Spirit to declare His works in our book Psalm 118:17: “You will not die, but live to declare the works of God.”

Charlaine’s book, “He Restored My Soul In The Valley of The Shadow of Cancer”, is a declaration in knowing that cancer is no match for God. God later called her to the Our Journey of Hope Care Ministry and equipped her with hope, tools, training and support to raise up a cancer care ministry. Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp honored the ministry at Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist with a proclamation during National Cancer Survivor Week as being the only church in Hamilton County with said ministry and celebrating all cancer survivors.
