According to Baylor head coach Curtis Blair, “Our strength as a team is our technical ability to play under pressure and it took us the first half to try to get into a rhythm. I thought we played much better in the second half when we settled down and started to move the ball. Give Coach Wynecoff and GPS credit, they made things difficult in the first half. It was good to clinch the number two seed and get a home game on Saturday. “
The Lady Red Raiders’ standouts: Sara Hill, Hannah Helms, Brylee Faulkner, Reese Rowlett and Hannah Helms. Their record stands at 13-3-2.
