For the past 31 years, the Chattanooga TPC has served as the season-ending event on the Chattanooga District Golf Association schedule. Council Fire Club has been the permanent host since the tournament’s inception, offering a final chance at glory for the area’s top performers over the course of the golf season.

What began as a novel idea of CDGA long-time leader Mike Jenkins and fully embraced by Council Fire managing partner Jon Kinsey has evolved into a tournament every golfer wants included on his résumé.

Pat Corey won the inaugural event and went on to capture three of the first four championships. There have been 24 different champions crowned, with Richard Keene, Chris Treadway, Bryce Ledford and Hunter Vest joining Corey as multiple winners.

Andrew Weathers returns as defending champion, defeating Chris Wells in last year’s championship match of the regular division. Tom Baird seeks to retain his title in the senior division after squeaking past Keene in the 2023 final.

Friday’s Round of 16 matches in the Regular Division along with seeding are:

1 Keoni Vidrine vs. 16 Josh Baker

2 Andrew Weathers vs. 15 Brendon Wilson

3 Brandon Cissom vs. 14 Mike Craig

4 Steven Locke vs. 13 Phil Spitalny

5 Chris Wells vs. 12 Dustin Gill

6 Seth Brandon vs. 11 Tucker Wick

7 Mike Dunn vs. 10 Matt Crowder

8 Rusty Johnson vs. 9 Griffin Law

The quarterfinals will be played Saturday, followed by the semifinals Sunday morning and the championship final later that afternoon.

The Senior Division will feature the quarterfinals on Friday, the semifinals on Saturday and the championship final Sunday afternoon.

Senior participants and their seeding are:

1 Jay Potter vs. 8 Neil Spitalny

2 Joe Markham Jr. vs. 7 Bret Douglas

3 Shonn Weldon vs. 6 Jim Lett

4 Bob Rice vs. 5 Scott Patton
