The Chattanooga Rescue Mission is hosting a Thanksgiving Banquet for the homeless and the community on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at 1512 S. Holtzclaw Ave. No meals will be served after 1 p.m.
"This event is free of charge and is open to the community. Just drop in or drive in and receive a hot meal," oranizers said. "The Thanksgiving banquet is one of the ways that the Chattanooga Rescue Mission can share the love of Christ to the homeless population and also the community by allowing us to serve a population that may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner."
