Mollie Ann Joiner
Mollie Ann Joiner, 91, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
Mollie was born in Kentucky, on Feb. 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Howard Franklin Stringer and Cordella Setser Stringer. She retired from Mobile Chemical Company after many years of service. Mollie attended church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
In addition to her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her first husband, CL Hullender; second husband, Oscar Joiner; great-granddaughter, Brooke Sholtz; son, Michael Hullender; three brothers; Howard Stringer, Harold Blevins, and Jimmy Blevins; and three sisters, Cleo Blevins, Vivan Pierce and Beverly Beavers.
Survivors include six children, Wayne Hullender (Kelly), Ronnie Hullender (Linda), Mary Burton (Richard), Bobbie Hullender, Junior Hullender (Joyce), and Eugene Hullender; eleven grandchildren, Kim Hullender, Jeremy Hullender (Shannon), Jamie Hullender, Adam McCaslin (Genna), Misty Hullender, Jennifer Hullender, Brandon Hullender, Makayla Hullender, Michael Hullender, Kelley Phillips (Jeremy) and Zachary Hullender; twelve great-grandchildren, Houston Hullender, Jacob Hullender, Chelsea Hullender, Jack McCaslin, Madison McCaslin, Matthew Hayes, Riley Hayes, Dean Marquis, Hailey Marquis, Kashleigh Hullender, Katie Hullender, Larry Bowels, Faith Bowels, Bryson Hullender, Rayna Hullender, and Rylie Hullender; and six great-great-grandchildren, Kastin, Aliyah, Amayih, Kyland, Aaliyah Grace, and Grayson; and a sister, Diane Bilbrey.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 4 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with a grandson, Pastor Adam McCaslin officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
