At their November meeting, the board of directors of the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga voted to add a slate of four new members.
About the new members:
Dr. John S. Adams - a Navy-trained obstetrician-gynecologist and partner in private practice at Women’s Health Services of Chattanooga. Dr. Adams has held various board positions, including serving on the Parkridge Board of Governors, the Physician’s Surgery Center Governing Board, and as a member of the Medical Executive Committees at both Parkridge and the Physician’s Surgery Center, where he currently serves as medical director.
In 2023, he was honored as a Champion of Healthcare, Diversity and Equity Division for his service to the Gamma Pi Boulé Foundation Board, which provides scholarships to young Black males in Hamilton County.
Will Clegg - a Chattanooga native and partner at Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough, PLLC (HHM CPAs), where he leverages his extensive expertise to provide comprehensive tax planning and strategic advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses in a variety of industries. Mr. Clegg is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he earned his undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in business administration. In addition to his efforts within the business community, Mr. Clegg is a strong advocate for the Chattanooga community, serving as the chair of CHI Memorial Foundation Board, as well as serving on the board of the Just One More Foundation.
Briana Garza - the CEO and founder of Chatt Taste Food Tours. Ms. Garza is a celebrated entrepreneur, disability advocate, food enthusiast and daughter of a U.S. Army veteran, who spent her early years traveling the world. In 2019, she launched Chatt Taste Food Tours with the help of two friends who share her love for Chattanooga and its culinary transformation. Since its inception, Chatt Taste has been recognized by USA Today as a Top 10 Culinary Experience in the United States.
Pam McKenney - brings more than 20 years of financial expertise to her volunteer work supporting numerous nonprofit organizations throughout the Chattanooga area. She currently serves on the boards of CHI Memorial Foundation and Siskin Hospital for Rehabilitation, having previously chaired each organization’s annual fundraising events. Ms. McKenney has also served on the boards of The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hamilton County, Hunter Museum of American Art, Baylor School Board of Trustees, and Bridge Scholars, and was a member of the Community Foundation's inaugural WE Project cohort from 2018-2019. She is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s in international business and has held roles in audit, financial reporting, business integration, process management and strategic planning at both Deloitte and GE Capital.
