Hamilton Medical Center To Host Joint Moves Event In Calhoun

Hamilton Medical Center will host a free joint pain seminar on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Calhoun Depot, 109 S. King St. in Calhoun.

Andrew Carlone, MD, J. Mitchell Frix, MD, D.J. Goss, DO and Nick Reed, MD will give a presentation on the latest advancements in total joint replacement of ankle, hip, knee and shoulder, as well as orthopedic foot and ankle surgery.

Officials said, "There are non-operative treatments for joint pain include anti-inflammatory drugs or other treatments such as physical therapy.
When non-operative treatments offer little relief and everyday activities are limited due to stiffness and pain, total joint replacement surgery may be the solution to allow people to keep moving without pain.
