TSWA Honors Dozen From Area On 2024 Girls All-State Basketball Teams

A total of 12 Chattanooga-area girls were named to the just announced Tennessee Sports Writers Association 2024 Girls All-State basketball teams. The City of Cleveland saw three of its stars honored as Class 4A state champion Bradley Central standouts Kimora Fields and Harmonie Ware were selected, as well as, Cleveland High’s multi-sport standout Lauren Hurst.

In Class 3A another multi-sport star, Carlee Lowry was named. In Class 3A, two McMinn Central athletes were honored, Karina Bystry and Molly Masingale, along with Curtlyn Lee from Sequatchie County.

Boyd Buchanan’s Sarah Peyton Durham and Silverdale’s Kelsie Johnson were honored in Division II-A. In Division II-AA, Chattanooga Christian saw two of its underclassmen stars nail down spots, as eighth grader Kamora “Momo” Moore and freshman Aubriyana Camp were selected, as well as Baylor’s two sport standout, Riley Oleksik.
