Back in January I read an article titled, "Your Vote is Meaningless." by Ralph Miller. After reading it over and over I finally realized that I agreed with what I understood, but I had a hard time really understanding all of it. You see, I’m not a politician. I am a retired soldier. I understand things like, "thousands of illegal foreigners are crossing our borders daily," and "thieves are walking in shops and blatantly stealing what they want," and "our cities are being destroyed by homeless druggies." These are but a few of the things I do understand. I also understand that the Democrats are allowing this to continue. The people that we elected are allowing this to happen.
As Mr. Miller pointed out, there are many unorthodox, sneaky, under the table and shameful things the Democrats have done and are seemingly continuing to do. Why are "we" allowing this? I keep asking politicians (both Democrats and Republicans) these questions. The response I get from them is, "I don't know."
Perhaps our elected senators, congressmen, congresswomen, judges and all elected officials in high places should stop and look at the direction our country is headed. All of these highly respected and paid individuals need to start paying attention and stop this nonsense.
This is not a Super Bowl we are playing in. We are playing hard ball with our sons', daughters' and grandchildren’s future.
My hope is that we can elect a president who can get the country back on the road and forget about open borders, electric cars and changing children’s sex.
These are things that I understand. It’s time we decided to do an about face and get our country back to being a place with pride and honor.
Kudos to Mr. Miller on his article. It woke me up.
