Homer D. Barrett
Homer D. Barrett, 91, of Evans, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
He and his wife, Evelyn, were longtime residents of Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn M. Barrett, in 2014, and his youngest daughter, Rebecca, in 1975.
Homer is survived by his daughters, Kathalynn Beck (Chip) of Purcellville, Va., and Deborah Boring (Alan) of Evans, Ga.; son, Homer Dale Barrett, Jr. Mr. Barrett has eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one nephew and one niece.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating.
