Nancy Ryan, 82, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

She was a proud graduate of the Chattanooga Central High School, Class of 1959. Nancy worked and retired as a medical transcriptionist and was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sue Gilreath; her beloved husband of 60 years, Larry Ryan; and sister, Patsy Gilreath.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (Chastity) Ryan, Danny (Teresa) Ryan, both of Chattanooga; sister, Jeanie Michael of Knoxville; her grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Visitation for Nancy will be held on Tuesday, June 18, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.

A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Mr. Earl Freudenberg officiating.

Pallbearers will be Tony Bradford, Tommy Cates, Lanval Gumbs, Brent Matthews, David Stephenson, and Kevin Thompson.

The graveside committal service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
