Re: "County GOP Chief Hits 'Unacceptable Campaigning'; Does Not Say Which Campaign"
Surely Mr. Harrison knows it is our duty as American citizens to research and question everything for the sake of our county, state and country; not blindly trust.

The GOP is not my authority, incumbents are not my authority, and the government is not my authority.

It's ironic he mentioned Reagan and the 11th commandment.
As the story goes Reagan, God rest his soul, added this commandment into the Republican vernacular in an attempt to keep his GOP rivals from damaging him before the general election.

It's a new day and the Republican Party's motto has been updated.

"Thou shalt not feed the RINOs" is the new commandment and pushing a RINO out of the watering hole is a muddy, rough and tumble job.

I agree with everything you said. I also think he should have named the person instead of being vague if he actually knew something.

The Republicans also refuse to debate for the school board elections. They are banking on wins due to party loyalists. I think everyone should debate so we know what they stand for.
We should vote for the best person and not because they are in a certain party.

The legendary Paul Harvey had a radio program called “The Rest of the Story.” There were always interesting stories he would share. At some point he would say, “Now to page two” for a deeper explanation of the story.
An article about the refusal of the Republican school board candidates to attend the Chatt 2.0 debates was reported in the Times Free Press on June 12. In the article the Chatt 2.0 spokesperson lamented and criticized the Republican candidates for their refusal.
On May 2, the Chattanoogan reported the District 2 candidates would meet at a forum hosted by the Signal Mountain High School Young Democrats club in Red Bank on May 11.
In addition CALEB, a local community organization, had asking some candidates for school board to meet and answer constituent’s questions. All four candidates for districts 2 and 11 accepted.
Chatt 2.0 did not send an invitation until May 28.

In spite of this knowledge beforehand, two articles appear in the Chattanoogan, one June 14 and the second on June 17. Both criticized Republican for refusing to debate.

The authors of these articles had to know Republicans Ben Daugherty and Sherrie Ford had already accepted CALEB’s invitation:

District 2 on June 23 on Signal Mtn.

District 11 on June 29 at the Bethlehem Center in Alton Park at 5pm - this coming Saturday.
The June 14 and June 17 articles failed to mention the Democrat candidate for district 10 had also refused Chatt 2.0’s invitation to debate.
During the 2022 elections, three of the Democrat school board candidates refused to answer the questions for the “2022 Hamilton County Voter Guide.”
Besides, don’t all candidates “bank on wins due to party loyalists?”
It’s all just politics! Right?
As Paul Harvey would say, “Now you know the rest of the story.” At least more of the story.
