The Northside Neighborhood House inducted their new board of directors and board leadership earlier this month, embarking on a new era as former Board President Cynthia Reagan passes the torch to Joshua Cropp of HHM Wealth.
The agency also announces seven new members: community volunteer Sandy Zabel; Kadi Brown, The Group Real Estate Brokerage; Monica Griffin, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church; Beth Hamilton, Tennessee Transportation; Brian Hemminger, Food City; Erin Reece, Regions Bank; and Chris Topel, Atlas Total Health Chiropractic.
Alongside Mr.
Cropp is Katie Warren, first vice president; Kristin Copeland, second vice president; Sandy Zabel, recording secretary; Rhonda Rigsby, treasurer; Marcus Johnson, assistant treasurer, and Rachel Gammon, CEO.
Ms. Gammon announced her retirement in March and has stayed on as the NNH search committee seeks out her replacement. Both Ms. Reagan and Ms. Cropp have been instrumental in the process, and are confident the next CEO will shape the future of NNH, officials said.
“I am excited to assume the role of president of the board at Northside Neighborhood House, particularly as we navigate the process of hiring and onboarding a new CEO who will lead the organization into the next century of service to our community and employees,” Ms. Cropp stated.
The Northside Neighborhood House has been in operation since 1924, working to address the needs of individuals and families living north of the Tennessee River by providing a hand up through education and assistance. With offices located on the north shore, NNH operates 10 CommUNITY Schools, three Thrift Stores and the Coffee Community Collective in Soddy-Daisy.
