Tickets Going Fast For Morning Pointe Foundation’s Seniors Got Talent Show July 29

  • Thursday, July 18, 2024
More than a hundred tickets have sold so far for this year’s Seniors Got Talent, Chattanooga variety show, produced by the Morning Pointe Foundation in partnership with Morning Pointe Senior Living.

Twelve talented senior acts will take the stage at the Silverdale Center Creekside Theater on July 29 at 7 p.m. The theater is part of the Silverdale Baptist Academy campus, next to the sports fields at 7236 Bonny Oaks Dr.

Performers competing for the $1,000 grand prize include ballroom dancers, singers, guitarists, comedians, a hammered dulcimer player and a magician, spanning the ages of 60-93.
Monetary prizes have been added this year for second place ($500) and third place ($250). Show attendees will also be able to vote for the People’s Choice Award winner for $1 per vote, with funds going to the Morning Pointe Foundation.

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living founded by Tennessee-based senior healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow. Seniors Got Talent proceeds specifically go toward clinical scholarships for students at partner colleges.

Attendees can also purchase tour t-shirts at the show for $25 to support the Foundation.

"We are counting down to the show, and I am so excited about the variety of our performers this year,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “It’s a great family event, a great entertainment value and a great cause. We came close to selling out last year, and it wouldn’t surprise me if we fill up all the seats at the theater.”

Tickets for the Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent show are $10. They are available at silverdaleba.org/arts or MorningPointeFoundation.com/seniorsgottalent. Seating is general admission.

Gino D, radio personality with Hits 96 in Chattanooga, will serve as emcee for the show. Judges are Steve Darmody, award-winning Christian recording artist; Danielle Farrell, author, dancer and director of Raw Art Dance & Entertainment Dance Academy; Josh Robinson, executive producer of The Daily Refresh on NewsChannel 9 in Chattanooga; and Susan Caminez, executive director of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera.
