Chattanooga Horse Photographer Elected To PPA Council

The Professional Photographers of America announces the election of Betsy Bird, Cr. Photog., CPP, of Ride the Sky Equine Photography, to the PPA Council. 

Officials said, "Betsy, an award-winning equine photographer, brings her passion, dedication and expertise to this role, representing the vibrant photography community of Tennessee.

"As one of the three councilors representing Tennessee and among the 150 councilors across the United States and Canada, Betsy will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the photography profession."

“I am deeply honored to be elected to the PPA Council,” said Ms.
Bird. “It’s a privilege to represent Tennessee’s photographers and contribute to the growth and excellence of our profession.”

Council members are nominated and elected every three years by PPA members in their state. They attend state and local association meetings, contribute to discussions on association matters and participate in the annual meeting at Imaging USA.
