Outdoor and adventure re-sale and consignment store The Gear Closet celebrates the one-year anniversary of its new location on Signal Mountain Road with expanded hours.
"Not only can shoppers score deals on new and gently used gear for water sports, rock climbing, camping and backpacking, snow sports, cycling and much more, but every sale supports watershed conservancy," officials said.
Beginning Aug. 1, shoppers can support WaterWays’ educational programming and stream restoration projects seven days a week from noon-6 p.m.
Sundays through Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays.
“Business has been booming since we moved into the new site, so we knew it was time to extend our hours,” said WaterWays Executive Director Mary Beth Sutton. “What a great way to keep our 20th anniversary celebration going.”
The non-profit celebrates two decades of work empowering communities to restore and protect their
local waters this year.
"Headed up Signal Mountain to enjoy the World’s Longest Yardsale the first weekend of August? Make a quick stop by the shop for our Used Outdoor Gear Sale. Discounts on already reduced merchandise.
