Chattanooga’s Luff Sheets Launches With "One For One" Donation Program For Kids In Need

  • Tuesday, September 10, 2024

Luff Sheets announces the launch of its socially focused bed sheets brand built around a socially conscious mission: "for every sheet set sold, Luff donates a set to organizations that provide beds for more than a million American children in need."

As a core part of their offering, the new Chattanooga brand matches each set purchased with a donated set of the same material and quality to organizations that provide beds for children who sleep on the floor, have poor sleeping conditions or require help settling into foster care and adoption.

Officials said, "Founded on the belief that consumers desire opportunities to give back with the way they spend on goods, Luff’s mission targets one of the most pressing yet lesser-known crises today: children without beds.

An estimate from Sleep In Heavenly Peace indicates '...roughly two to three percent of American children are without beds.' According to the math, that’s more than a million children across the United States lacking a basic necessity for their health and quality of life: a bed."

"You spend a third of your life in bed, and sleeping well is one of the most important things you can do to find and fulfill your American dream," said Josh and Kristin Polgardi, founders of Luff Sheets. "By combining our incredible sheets with this urgent mission, Luff is not only transforming bedtime for our customers, we’re also inviting them to help more than a million children get a shot at the same thing."

Officials said, "Luff spent the last year securing donation relationships with numerous organizations across the U.S. that are leading the charge to help children get their first bed. Collectively, these organizations need tens of thousands of sheet sets each year.

"Luff has secured its first $1,000 in donated sheets with delivery anticipated in the coming weeks, with sustaining donations thereafter as awareness and sales ramp up. Luff is open to exploring more partnerships with any organization that can benefit from Luff’s sheet donation program. Please contact Luff here for further information."

“We know you can get sheets anywhere. But with Luff, imagine how you’d sleep knowing you helped a kid out there get their first bed,” added the founders. "With every sheet set we sell, our customers help create a country where every child can enjoy the comfort, dignity and security of a proper bed."

Officials said, "In addition to Luff’s charitable program, each Luff sheet set is crafted with best-in-class, double-brushed, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified microfiber fabric with a comparable feel to 1800 thread count cotton. Customers will appreciate Luff’s temperature-regulating breathability for hot and cold sleepers, hypoallergenic fibers, moisture-wicking properties, guaranteed satisfaction or money back, free standard shipping and wide color selection."

Luff’s sheets are available for purchase on its website, www.fallinluff.com.
