Dr. Emir Caner
Dr. Emir Caner, president of Truett McConnell University, will be speaking at First Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe on Sunday.
Since 2008, Truett McConnell University, built upon an Anabaptist vision of fulfilling the Great Commission through the Great Commandment, has septupled in enrollment, establishing nine schools, four master’s degrees, and thirteen online degree programs.
Dr. Caner is the host of the syndicated program, “The Emir Caner Show,” and has published or contributed to 24 books which have sold more than 300,000 copies. His bestseller, Unveiling Islam, won the Gold Medallion Book of the Year award. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Caner has preached in nearly 1,000 churches.
He will be preaching in both the 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. services at the church.
First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe is at 2645 Lafayette Road and started as a church plant in 1952.
