Sheila Lynn Ouzts Parkerson, 64, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Sheila was born on April 4, 1960, in Fort Oglethorpe, to the late Hugh and Barbara Ouzts. She attended Ringgold High School and was a proud member of the Ringgold community. She worked for Wilson Property Management, where she not only managed apartment communities, but she also helped connect hundreds of families to something that matters most – a place to call home.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mickey Parkerson; children, Jeana (Zach) Lee and Karen Parkerson; brothers, Rhett Ouzts and Brad Ouzts; grandchildren, Aiden Lee and Sophia Lee; and many cousins, friends and other family members.

Sheila was incredibly kind and very generous, always making sure others had what they needed. To honor her remarkable generosity and the joy she brought to our lives, please consider donating to the YMCA, designating your gift to the North Georgia Community Support program, so that her legacy of giving can keep making a difference.

A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at Boynton Baptist Church in Ringgold, conducted by Pastor Keith McLeod.
